This dog was shaved a couple of months ago, is what they said… …and needs a bath. Um, they said that the dog eats and then goes and chews on their butt. So we’re gonna… …really get the anal glands, if we can and we’re gonna trim that up really well. So we’re just gonna do a bath, nails, ears. So let’s get started. First things first, we’re gonna turn on the bathing system. This guys is a little nervous. I’ve had some questions about why… …I keep this so tight. Guys, that is for the safety of the dog.
If this is loose they can jump out, especially if they’re on the table. They can fall off or jump off the table and strangle themselves. Um, I know a lot of you that are not groomers, will not fully understand why… it’s so tight… …but the groomers out there know exactly why we have to keep it tight. Sometimes dogs are unpredictable and they can… have an urge to go somewhere else besides stay on the table… …and they can fall off. So we’re just gonna get… him completely wet… …except for the head. We’re just gonna let this water fall down… …soapy water fall down over him. He does seem to have some dandruff… so I am going to… …loosen it with the jet. Um, the owner needs to go back to work. …so I’m gonna get him as dry as I can, with the high viscosity dryer and then, we’ll put him in the cage dryer.

His quick are pretty long. I am going to trim those up a little bit, it just bothers me to… send a dog out with… ..fuzzy paws, just a little bit. So technically this would be face, feet and fanny. Um, with a bath you literally just bathe them and clip their nails… …and then they’re done. All right so clippers. Jeez! They wanted his behind shaved really close, so we’re gonna do a #15. Pretty wide… …wide one too. Okay… We’re gonna get a bandanna on him.
